The MusicStart® Keyboard comes with 4 "Attachments" that individually attach over the buttons and guide the student. These Attachments show:

| Step 1: (optional for
older or more experienced students) Affix Attachment 1 to your
MusicStart® Keyboard. View and/or print the colored
sheet music from this site. Play the song by matching the
colors on the Attachment with the colors on the sheet music notes.
Press the square red Octave Up button if indicated. |
| Step 2: Affix Attachment
2 to your MusicStart® Keyboard. Play the same tune as in
Step 1 but looking at the black and white
sheet music from this site. |
| Step 3: Affix Attachment
3 to your MusicStart® Keyboard. Play the same tune as before
but looking at the black and white sheet
music from this site. |
| Step 4: Affix Attachment
4 to your MusicStart® Keyboard. Play the same tune as before
but looking at the black and white sheet
music from this site. |
| Step 5: Play the same
tune with NO Attachments affixed to your MusicStart® Keyboard. |
The MusicStart® Learning Method teaches you how to read music and play tunes by providing and then gradually taking away learning aids. It is a progressive learning method because more experienced students can use fewer learning aids (or none at all). |
